Dr Samir Srivastava was listed as winner in a Top 100 Influential People Poll in the United Kingdom in December 2023.
As can be seen from the website text as above, Dr Srivastava was a winner for his work in forensic psychiatry and mental health but significantly how his work as a producer with People Productions Ltd has created short films that have won 617 awards globally and have raised awareness on issues that affect mental health and promote the prosocial education of children and equality and diversity in film making. From the feedback from film festivals this has impacted on audiences and judges at film festivals globally in 53 different countries.

Dr Samir Srivastava was featured in the Royal College of Psychiatrists Autumn edition 2023 of their national Insight magazine which is distributed to all members and Fellows of the College nationally.
This focuses on his mental health work and how this has inspired and intersects with our film making. The article also highlights the global success of People Production Films and particularly in raising issues pertaining to social impact, equality and zero discrimination.

‘Matty Boy’ Named Best Drama Comedy at Global Short Film Awards
The delightful short film “Matty Boy” was named the Best Drama Comedy Film at the 2021 Global Short Film Awards. The announcement was made by the GSF Awards founder and director Andres Aquino during the prestigious event’s 6th annual awards gala in Cannes, France.
“Matty Boy” has won 323 awards to date at international film festivals including Rome International Movie Awards, Oniros Film Awards, Hollywood Gold Awards, Across The Globe Film Festival, New York Movie Awards, Cult Valley Global Cinefest, Wales Film Festival, Onyko Film Awards, Istanbul Film Awards, New York Cinematography Awards, Cooper Awards, French Riviera Film Festival, Gona Film Awards, Los Angeles Film Awards, and more.

'Our Neighbor’s Shadow' and 'Matty Boy' Lead Filmmaker Awards at the iHollywood Film Fest
iHollywood Film Fest came to a close on July 6 with the announcement of the Audience Awards. The hybrid festival became the first film festival to award NFTs (non-fungible tokens) to filmmakers for their awards. Filmmakers were presented award certificates in person or virtually.
The biggest winner was “Our Neighbor’s Shadow” with Best Hollywood Feature Film, Best Hollywood Producer, Best Hollywood Director, Best Actor Massi Furlan, Best Actress Gley Viera and 5 Star Awards Connection finalist.
The producers and directors of “Matty Boy” were awarded the top award for short films, Best Hollywood Mini Movie and Best Hollywood Director for Mini Movies-Shahid Kamal. Along with Samir Srivastava, they were awarded an additional five awards for their other mini movies including 5 Star Awards and I AM Awards plus Best Hollywood Mini Movie International “Cinnamon”, Best Hollywood Mini Movie “Take the Chocolate” and “Katie Cutie, Ashu and the Funny Mouse”.

The I AM Awards creates a new standard of Awards for iHollywood Film Fest
The I AM Awards was created with Vanda Teixeira for the iHollywood Film Fest and became the first Film Festival to award films based on energetic frequency. It was also the first film festival to award NFTs(non-fungible tokens) to filmmakers for their awards. The iHollywood Film Fest closed on July 6 with the announcement of the Audience Awards.
The biggest winner was “Our Neighbor’s Shadow” as the “I AM Award” winner. It was also a 5 Star Award Connection finalist. It was selected independently through different judges for iHollywood Film Fest for Best Hollywood Feature Film, Best Hollywood Producer, Best Hollywood Director, Best Actor, Massi Furlan and Best Actress, Gley Viera.
“Katie Cutie, Ashu and the Funny Mouse” held its world premiere during the iHollywood Film Fest and Dr. Shahid Kamal and Dr. Samir Srivastava earned a finalist nod and a 5 Star Awards Connection Runner up award, the 5 Star Awards Beauty Winner for “Cinnamon” which was also awarded Best Hollywood Mini Movie International. They were awarded three other awards for Best Hollywood Mini Movie and Best Hollywood Director for Mini Movies for their film “Matty Boy” and Best Hollywood Mini Movie Children for “Take the Chocolate”.
